My Current Favorite Easy Supper

Salmon on the grill. Well...in foil packets anyway. I'm not brave enough to put it directly on the grill. So, I've been wrapping the salmon fillets in foil with a little olive oil and Penzey's lemon pepper seasoning. Divine! We've been on a seafood kick lately. Maybe it's a summer thing? The boys love fish and (sometimes) shrimp and it makes for a quick supper. I served the salmon with zucchini spears grilled as well. Eh. They were okay. I'm trying to like zucchini, but it's just not happening. No real recipe. Salmon, olive oil, sprinkle with seasoning. Grill (our low setting on the grill is about 350 degrees) for about 15 minutes, depending on the size of your fillets. Ours were 5 oz. I believe.

Smores Cookies

Got this recipe from my new favorite recipe website, Tasty Kitchen. Easy to make, good to eat! These were a big hit with the boys and my co-workers. The only tip I would make is to buy the good graham crackers! I used store brand and they were a little flat tasting. The store brand were also kind of thin and browned quickly.

I got the neatest new camera. It's a Fuji Finepix S1500. Loooooooooove it. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of food with it. It's been so hot I have only been doing the minimum in the kitchen. I'm going to try and get something foodie done with it soon. In the meantime, you can look at my dog! He's grown a lot since the picture in my sidebar.
